A short TikTok showing a little boy being awarded a chieftaincy title has gone viral online.
The young fellow, who remains unidentified, sat on a traditional stool and was coronated with a red cap adorned with a white feather by a group of elders.
He was hailed by his chieftaincy name ‘Osinachi’, which, in the Igbo language, translates to ‘It’s from God’. Traditional drums played in the background while the ceremony was going on.
The video, posted by @mc_i.k, also showed the moment when the young chief joined the elders to perform the traditional handshake observed by Igbo titled chiefs.
It remains unconfirmed if the clip is part of a movie, a comedy skit, or real life. Still, the kid has been showered with plenty of congratulatory messages from social media admirers.
It also appears he was not the only one who got a title from the elders, as they called for the next person to come.
