WSOP Main Event Chip Count: Top 10 Chip Counts for Day 3 of the 2022!

On the 40th day of the 2022 World Series of Poker, one gold bracelet was given out, and the $10,000 Main Event money bubble burst, which is always an exciting sight. Read on to find out more about the WSOP Main Event Chip Count.

On Day 3 of the $10,000 Main Event of the 2022 World Series of Poker, the field was cut from 2,993 to 1,299. This was the second-largest field in WSOP history.

Out of the 8,663 people who signed up, three players won the minimum cash prize of $15,000. This means that a small part of the $80,782,475 prize money has already been given out in the main event of the 2022 WSOP.

When everyone had put away their chips for the night and the frantic bubble tension had died down, Aaron Mermelstein was on top of the leaderboard with 2,059,000 chips. He seems to be the only one with more than two million, but Nick Howard (1,850,000) and Gabi Livshitz (1,835,000) are not far behind.

In the end, when his king-nine flopped trips in a three-bet pot and he beat an opponent with pocket kings, he won a big chunk of his large stack of chips.

Several other winners of live poker’s most coveted hardware, like Michael Moncek (1,244,000) and Ryan Torgersen, will bring healthy stacks into Day 4. (1,134,000). Mitchell Halverson (1,044,000) also has a bracelet, and he will try to do even better than his 15th place finishes in the 2021 WSOP Main Event.

Defending champion Koray Aldemir (537,000), Damien Salas (405,000), John Cynn (343,000), Chris Moneymaker (268,000), Ryan Riess (243,000), and Greg Merson are among the former champions still in contention (168,000).

On the hand-for-hand money bubble, there was a round where five all-ins and calls happened at five different tables at the same time. Robert Lipkin, Ognjen Sekularac, and Tom McCormick, who were all trying to stay alive, all ran out of chips at the same time.

They split the $15,000 minimum cash for $5,000 each, and Lipkin was lucky enough to win the blind flip for the next year’s WSOP $10,000 Main Event entry. Kevin Campbell was the last player in the 2021 WSOP Main Event, and he was one of the people who made it to Day 3 with a bigger stack than most.

Even though a lot of big names have already been taken out, there are still a lot of big names left in the field for Day 4. During the 2022 WSOP at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas, they will all be back at work at noon local time to try to win the $10 million top prize in the biggest live poker event of the year. This will be the biggest live poker event of the year.

The blinds will be between $4,000 and $8,000, and the big blind ante will be $8,000. Each of the five levels will last two hours.
