The live-action version of the popular manga, One Piece, premiered on August 31 on Netflix. The series garnered positive and exciting reactions from both critics and fans, partly due to its exceptional ensemble of actors.
Iñaki Godoy and Mackenyu Omaeda have gained significant attention for their roles as Luffy and Zoro in the series.
However, another key cast member in the live-action adaptation of One Piece is Emily Rudd. The actress plays the character Nami, contributing significantly to the series’ progression.
Rudd is a 30-year-old performer who primarily took on smaller roles in films and television until 2021 when she played the role of Cindy Berman in Netflix’s Fear Street. She continued her career with the role of Nami in the One Piece adaptation in 2023.
In spite of her great achievements, the famous One Piece actress Emily Rudd still feels remorse for a past mistake she committed and has not granted herself forgiveness for it.

Last month, Emily Rudd revealed one of her secrets in a video (Emily Rudd from One Piece Tells How She Grew Up Geeked) posted by Still Watching Netflix on YouTube.
In the video, she mentioned one mistake that she made and hasn’t forgiven herself for that. She said:
“I wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my Pokémon Cards and my Game Boy Color with all of the original Pokémon Games. I have beat myself up over that so much because I’m like, “Why? Why did I do that?” That was amazing. Like I wanna pay them now, you know? I wanna have those cards now.”
Rudd mentioned that some of her most cherished belongings were her beloved video game console and some Pokémon trading cards that she now wishes she hadn’t disposed of in the past.
This indicates her strong passion for anime is not limited to watching it but also includes collecting anime-related items.

Women are so cool and so powerful and they can do anything.” And it also just really solidified anime in my life.”
The actress also mentioned that there are many things she’s really passionate about. She’s currently re-reading One Piece manga, watching Demon Slayer, and always searching for new anime series she hasn’t watched.
