Elena Andreyevna Rybakina was born on 17 June 1999 in Moscow and is a Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player. She is the first Kazakhstani player in the top 15 and also the first to reach a Grand Slam final, a feat she achieved by qualifying for the finals of the 2022 Wimbledon. Rybakina has reached eight finals on the WTA Tour, including three at the WTA 500 level, winning two titles.
Rybakina caught everyone’s attention at the 2021 French Open when she made it to the quarter-finals and improved her performance in the All-England Club next season. Rybakina is credited to charge over her opponents with destructive attacks and hammer them with accurate aces and strong forehands.
