Donna Vekic is one of the most prominent tennis players from Croatia. In her professional career, Vekic won three singles titles on the WTA Tour at the 2014 Malaysian Open, at the 2017 Nottingham Open, and at the 2021 Courmayeur Ladies Open. She also had a successful career in the junior circuit.
Vekic’s career-high singles ranking is 19 which she achieved In November 2019. Vekic’s best showing at a Grand Slam is her quarterfinals appearance at the 2023 Australian Open and 2019 US Open. Other than her performance on the courts she has also been in news for her personal life.

The Croatian 26-year-old was in the limelight due to her relationship with the Swiss star Stan Wawrinka a few years ago. The romance between them lasted from early 2015 to 2019 and the couple separated without making any reasons public. After Wawrinka, little is known about Vekic’s relationship. Later, there were some rumors about her relationship with Thanasi Kokkinakis but not confirmed.
Last year in November she posted some pictures with Borna Coric enjoying her off-season, which started rumors about the couple. Some reports highlighted that Vekic was seen in Borna’s box watching Coric’s match against Nadal in Cincinnati that year. Vekic from her side nor Coric has made anything public about the same.
In 2023 there were some reports that Vekic is currently single and is said to be putting all of her work toward advancing her profession. Her Instagram stories say the same as she is more focused on her career now.
