Then that happens in the first game in the first quarter. You try to come back and it keeps happening and happening.”
“When it happened a third time against Iowa he was looking at us like, ‘Dad, I don’t know what else to do. I’m doing everything I can to get back’. I hate that he wasn’t able to be there for the Michigan and Georgia games, but he couldn’t. While we’re in it, it was rough. After the season I felt like God was preparing him to face adversity. You can’t always have it like you want to. I know you worked hard but sometimes life happens. That was a good lesson for him,” he added.
