Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has disabled building and players are wondering when the feature will be coming back to the game.

If you have been following Fortnite news lately, you might be well aware of the fact that the latest season is making quite a shocking change to the game. For avid Fortnite players, building is not only a useful mechanic in the game but also a great measure of their skill. Surely, you need to have great aim and tactical awareness, but if you know how to build pretty fast, you can gain a massive edge over any opponent whenever you want. Quite interestingly, the latest season is disabling building altogether, which is something nobody expected. Moreover, this change is applying to all game modes and is not just limited to the arena.
When Is Building Coming Back To Fortnite?
The good news is that the change is not permanent. You may not be able to build in the game right now, but the omission of this feature is only timed. Players should be able to start building in the game in 9 days after the start of the season. Considering that the season has kicked off on 20th March, one can expect that it would be coming back around 29th March. Do note that these are based on the leaks we have gotten so far.
That being said, unlike other games, the leaks are very accurate in Fortnite because most of it is datamined which is almost never wrong. The omission of building could lead to some interesting changes to the game’s meta. Fans are already quite excited about this and many believe that this will put everybody on equal footing. As more players try out the new update, it will be interesting to see what the overall reception to this will be.
