Not even Call of Duty: Warzone can be trusted as it’s officially April Fools Day 2022 and players around the world are jumping right into the brand new ‘Totally Normal BR’ mode in Caldera and Rebirth Island.
Each year game developers are often known to prank players in titles such as Apex Legends, Minecraft, War Thunder, and many, many more. Whether it be by buffing a weapon to do a ridiculous amount of damage or giving players funny looking skins, you can likely count on your favourite game to take part in April Fools Day 2022.
Warzone fans are booting up the game eager to find out what’s new and discovering the ‘Totally Normal BR’ playlists have taken over the usual modes. So, what exactly is different in the modes? Here’s everything you need to know.

What Is Totally Normal BR Mode In Warzone? New April Fools Day Mode Explained
For April Fools Day 2022, the standard Battle Royale Mode has been renamed to ‘Totally Normal BR’ with the caption “DON’T PRESS THIS BUTTON”. Whilst Rebirth Resurgence has been renamed to ‘Totally Normal Rebirth Resurgence’ with the caption “It’s Resurgence right? … Right?”.
Of course, with the captions being certainly less than enticing, Warzone fans are dying to know what exactly has changed with their favourite modes.
Well, as pointed out by ModernWarzone, it turns out that both modes will now spawn all players with a specialist bonus and a loadout waiting for you as soon as you spawn in. For those that might not know, a specialist bonus gives you all of the perks in the game at once.
So, drop into Warzone for April Fools Day 2022 and have fun whilst the ‘totally normal BR’ modes are around!
