Popular Kenyan chef, Maliha Mohammed has sent social media into a frenzy after she announced on her Instagram page that she would start her trial cook-a-thon on Friday, 16th of June, 2023.
Following the announcement by Guinness World Records (GWR) proclaiming Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking hours by an individual, Maliha remains undeterred and determined to proceed with her own cook-a-thon trial. She shared her plans to broadcast the trial on Instagram Live, during which she intends to prepare 100 recipes in Tudor, Mombasa, spanning a remarkable 55 hours.
