Then, a few days later our photographer took a quick photo of her on the streets of Manhattan. (At least I think that's her...who else could pull off such a intensely chic winter look?)
And, after going to today's Behnaz Sarafpour show, I had a thought that maybe Behnaz was as into Beckham's "weekend" looks as I was. Check out how similar these runway outfits are to Posh's get-ups!
This is the look that tipped the scale for me. So sleek! I think the trick is to making leggings look more dressy is to get really* long *leggings--the versions that hit at or above the ankle just look too I'm-running-to-the-gym-after-this-cocktail casual. Since the fall '09 leggings won't be available 'til August, American Apparel, here I come.
