How to Run Valorant on Windows 11

Microsoft is about to officiate the release of Windows 11 by the next month, and there are many changes coming through. Windows 11 has minimum system requirements of an 8th-gen processor, AMD Ryzen 2000 or newer. In addition to newer processors, players will also need TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 and Secure Boot. Unlike previous versions of the OS, Windows 11 has stricter hardware requirements, including 64-bit processors that support TPM technology.

Given there are also ways to bypass the TPM boot, many players unknowingly faced a problem while running Valorant. Riot Games’ Valorant won’t run on unsupported Windows 11 PCs without TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. A pop-up message would show up and bar from playing any anti-cheat supported game unless the TPM and secure boot are turned on based on the current build of Riot’s anti-cheat service Vanguard.

Valorant has started to enforce both TPM and Secure boot if YOU are playing on Windows 11 to ensure a trusted platform when playing Valorant. @RiotVanguard team yet again leading the anti-cheat industry in the right direction for competitive integrity

Riot Games had recently updated its Vanguard anti-cheat system to enforce TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on Windows 11. This upgraded cheating protection offered by the TPM would prevent users from spoofing their hardware or device ID if they have been banned by the game. So unless you have bypassed the TPM process, you are good to play Valorant on Windows 11 with a secure boot.
