Rohit Sharma is not included in any of the three teams for the India tour of Australia due to a hamstring injury. KL Rahul has been named the vice-captain for the tour in the limited-overs format replacing Rohit.

BCCI announced the team for the tour to Australia which included some new names in the lineup. Shubman Gill and Mohammad Siraj got their test call-ups for the Indian team. Sanju Samson and Varun Chakravarthy were named in the T20 format. Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma however were excluded from the list due to injury concerns. The board confirmed both the players would be monitored by the medical team before the series.

Twitter Reactions after Rohit misses out from the Indian team

Fans of Rohit Sharma reacted to the news of the hitman missing out from the Indian team. Some people even questioned on his availability for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

Here are some of the reactions:

Indian selectors don’t name @ImRo45 in any of the 3 formats for a tour ending mid January (the release says @BCCI medical team will monitor his progress). And the same evening @mipaltan upload pictures of him practising. What’s the catch here?
