Trenches love: Nigerian man set to wed girlfriend after 6 years

A Nigerian man has decided to walk his girlfriend down the aisles after she’s stood with him for 6 years.

The young man, identified as @Tibz_fresh on Twitter, shared the inspirational love story of his babe, who stuck with him through the rough days.

He recalled that while he was in the trenches, his girlfriend supported him and didn’t look down on him because of his financial condition back then.

While sharing his pre-wedding photos, the graduate engineer turn writer and data analyst said the journey was not all smooth, but the time was now right for him to make things official with his babe.

@Tibz_fresh believes it’s best to quit a toxic and unproductive relationship, but the humble beginnings of a determined and hardworking person should never be despised.

“It’s the story of the trenches lovers. It’s been 6 years of love and happiness. It’s about time we make it official. U&IForever’22.

This was my prayer point while gathering courage to go speak to my fiancée for the first time. We were kids then, but I knew what love was. I could feel it,” he said.
