On 20th September, Canadian Punjabi rapper Shubhneet Singh, or Shubh, was in trouble as he shared a photo of an Indian map without Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and North-East India. There was massive backlash from all around india. His Indian tour was canceled, boAt pulled out of their sponsorship and he was unfollowed by many fans in India.
Months after the controversy, the rapper released an extended play called Leo. The EP had four songs, out of which two have garnered controversy. The Songs in question are “Take Off” and “King Shit”. He also took digs at Kangana Ranaut, who had publicly attacked him during the controversy. Shubh took a dig at her recent flops, like Tejas and Dhaakad. Many also thought he was comparing Kohli to a dog as shown in the album cover.
Fans defend Virat Kohli online
When the rumors of Shubh dissing Virat Kohli went viral, the fans of both started a fan war. The two factions dissed Shubh and Kohli one after another. Many Kohli fans were unhappy how the rapper tried to diss the Indian star and kept abusing him.
Check out their reactions:
Why are you guys overreacting to a song that has nothing related to Virat? Don't fall for these cheap tactics by some Shubh fans. No singer or artist in India has the audacity to take a diss on him even indirectly.

The Indian star had focused on ODIs and Tests, with him missing every T20I match in 2023. He had a marvelous 2023, finishing as the highest run scorer in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup. He recently featured in the Test series with South Africa, where he was India’s highest scorer across the two Tests. Kohli has just returned to the T20I side after 14 months, with India hosting Afghanistan for 3 T20Is. After that India hosts England for 5 Tests.
