“They don’t deserve playoffs”: NFL Twitter reacts as Jaguars stuns Colts in week 18

In a big week 18 matchup which had major playoff implications all over the AFC has ended in a manner in which barely a few people would have expected. The Jaguars won in an emphatic manner with a score of 26-11.

Due to this result whole focus will now be shifted in the late game between fellow AFC West rivals, The Los Angeles Chargers and The Las Vegas Raiders both needing just a win to book their place in the playoffs but if the game ends in a tie then both teams can qualify.

Before the buildup of this match many people thought that if the Colts lose will both the teams of AFC West decide to take a knee for 60 minutes in order to tie the game so that both teams qualify for the playoffs. It will be interesting to see how that much plays out now.

Impressive performance by Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence.

Jacksonville Jaguars who came into week 18 with a shambolic record of 2-14 defeated the 9-7 Colts in a very emphatic manner which nobody saw coming.

The whole match was dominated by the Jaguars because of the dominant performance of their rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence who had high expectations from him since he was drafted but has not been able to perform at that level yet.

Trevor Lawrence threw for 223 yards with 2 touchdowns while having no interceptions with a passer rating of 111.9 to lead the Jags to a victory against the Colts by a score of 26-11.

The Colts however will be very disappointed by their performance and would hope to make things right ahead of the playoffs if the Steelers fail to take advantage.

Jacksonville is literally giving the Steelers a playoff spot if they want it. No excuse for this team now

New rule proposal for next season – the Colts have to play every game in Jacksonville and they aren’t allowed to come home until they win.

The Jaguars would be hoping for better performances in the next season as they have secured another No. 1 draft pick for this year’s NFL draft and this victory might just have boosted their morale following the end of a disappointing season.
