The Mageth Brothers are one of the Notorious Marks that you will find on the Hunt Board during your playthrough of Final Fantasy 16. This hunt is an A rank, meaning you should not accept it until you have some B ranks under your belt. Their level is 38, so be sure to have leveled up enough and spent enough Gil to be geared up. The Mageth Brothers is a reference to a group of female warriors from several past Final Fantasy games called The Magus Sisters.

They have been used as enemies, helpful NPCs, and even Summons in past games. This time around, their Final Fantasy 16 incarnation sees them as enemies you will need to best on the field of battle. If you find this hunt a little challenging, you can undertake an easier one of the same rank, such as the Nine of Knives, or drop down a rank to handle the Ten of Clubs.

Where To Find The Mageth Brothers
Once you have accepted this hunt and are ready for the fight ahead, Fast Travel on over to Port Isolde. Once here, use the map image above to reach the exact location of this Notorious Mark. You will find yourself coming to a beach with your targets standing on the coast. You will notice this gives you a wide-open area to fight them.
How To Fight The Mageth Brothers
There are two ways you can approach this encounter. You’ll want to bring with you some of your best AoE attacks to deal as much total damage at once as you can. This will make the fight much shorter. Option two is to focus all of your attacks on a single target while avoiding damage from the others. This will reduce how much damage they will be able to inflict. The Mageth Brothers are quite slow but have a charging attack that can utterly destroy your HP. Always be on your guard and have an escape route to the left or right, never focus on the center brother, otherwise, the other two could charge you from the sides.
What Is The Reward Like?
For defeating these enemies, you will walk away with 5100 experience points and 90 Ability Points. The Mageth Brothers' drop items are two meteorites. You will also be rewarded for completing the hunt itself, which will net you 13,000 Gil and 30 renown.
