Dr Stone is a popular manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boiichi. The series was first introduced on 6th March 2017 and is currently ongoing.
The manga comes highly rated at 8.31 on My Anime List and is currently followed by thousands of readers worldwide. As it stands, the series showing no signs of slowing down…other than when it’s been delayed, of course.

Dr. Stone Chapter 206: Release date confirmed
Dr Stone is scheduled to be released at midnight JST on Monday, 9th August 2021. The release date has been confirmed on the official website for Viz. English translations are expected to release a few hours later at the following times:
- Pacific time: 10 AM.
- Central time: 12 PM.
- Eastern time: 1 PM.
- British time: 6 PM.
- Central Eastern time: 7 PM.
- India time: 10:30 PM.

Why was the series on a hiatus?
The manga went on hiatus after the authors needed a break so that they could recuperate and think about more ideas for the series as well as what direction they wanted to take the storyline in.
The series went on a break from 18th July 2021 and is set to return on 9th August 2021. Comic Book says that Boiichi, the illustrator for the series, needed some additional time in order to “do some much-needed research ahead of the next chapter” as some of the storylines and concepts are becoming more and more complex.
