The Game Heads to Consoles and PC on May 26; New Trailer Released

Jason Voorhees has been one of the most iconic (hockey mask-wearing) faces in cinema for decades, with the horror villain set to begin his reign of terror in interactive form with the release of Friday the 13th: The Game next month.

Developer Gun Media has announced that Friday the 13th: The Game will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 26th, 2017, marking the game’s long-awaited release announcement after a few years in development. In addition to the release date confirmation, a new trailer has also been released giving a closer look at the title ahead of its debut next month.

Friday the 13th: The Game originally started life as a project called Slasher Vol 1: Summer Camp from developer Illfonic, before eventually evolving into a game adaptation of the iconic horror film with the involvement of the film’s director, Sean S. Cunningham, with developer Gun Media.
