A Nigerian pet owner has left the internet in stitches after feeding his dog garri.
The man was seen in a video going through the motions of soaking the garri, while his agile puppy ran around him.
As he did this, he appealed aloud to the dog to manage what was available at the moment (the garri) just as it did when better meals were available.

The ‘understanding’ puppy, not minding what was offered, approached the plate of garri to eat it happily.
The man then prepared his own plate of garri to eat.
While eating, he commended the dog for being understanding, comparing it to women who only stick around when things are rosy.
Netizens have reacted with mixed comments to the action of the pet owner. Read reactions below;
