Parking

There is free on-site parking as well as metered street parking and a parking lot within walking distance. In addition, the entrance to the winter garden can hold up to three cars but could obstruct filming.

Furniture

There are tables (with optional tablecloths) and chairs available for your use. You can also move furniture around as required (as long as you put it back afterward).

AV equipment

Included in your booking is access to all of the space’s state-of-the-art AV equipment. This includes microphones, speakers, a projector, and a PA system.

Some rules to keep in mind when you rent out The Compound:

  • The minimum rental period for this venue is 4 hours.
  • This is an all ages venue, so children are welcome here too.
  • Be very careful around the art in the space and make sure that there is no furniture or equipment leaning against it that could damage it.
  • You may move furniture around during the course of your booking, but are asked to put it back at the end of your event and before leaving.
  • Although the Compound does not allow guests to stay overnight, you are allowed to keep equipment on site overnight as needed.
  • Renters are required to bring their own rubbish and recycling with them when they leave after their event.
  • For safety reasons, there are security cameras (without audio) in three locations throughout the venue: the front entrance, the office space, and the winter garden.
