In the recent Full Send Podcast, Sean Strickland went off against the big corporations for America’s declining values. Strickland believes that big corporations have weakened masculinity in men. In his words, this creates “beta males” who are easily controlled.
Strickland’s views are directly related to the inflation after World War II that required both parents to earn a living. The middleweight fighter thought an ideal family needed the father to work outside and the mother to care for the children. Strickland is also against the education system that he believes is grooming children. He has also allegedly made remarks against people belonging to the LGBTQ+ community.
Israel Adesanya is the polar opposite of Sean Strickland regarding ideologies. The ideological conflict was evident at the UFC 293 press conference, where they traded verbal blows. Nevertheless, the fighters respect each other massively. Both have showered praise on each other for being the fighter they are.
