Teacher who took indecent liberties with student working on children's program – WSOC TV

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A former Charlotte teacher who pleaded guilty to taking indecent liberties with a 16-year-old student is now working on children's programs in Rock Hill.

The Herald found Jerry Seale working on a summer reading program between Boyd Hill Baptist Church and York Road Elementary.

The school's principal said Seale didn't have any contact with children.

North Carolina revoked his teaching license after his guilty plea in 2008, and he signed a document in South Carolina agreeing not to work or volunteer in a public school.

Seale also worked on a children's day camp at the church.
