Taylor Swift's New York City Style Is Looking So NOT Taylor Swift

For a casual Sunday, she picked raw-hem skinnies, flat white sneakers, a white tee, and a plaid button-down worn open as a light jacket. There's nothing notable about it other than it being significantly different than what we would've seen the singer in during previous springs (she made matching a skater mini with a crop top her thing and has always loved matched sets).

She changed into something a bit more formal for an evening visit at Anna Wintour's house. A dress and heeled booties felt upgraded for dinner, though the heavy shoes and print still felt garage-band luxe. The leather jacket added an extra layer against cool evening air and confirmed the outfit's overall badass vibe.

Beyond the new hair, Taylor might be able to thank Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for inspiring her new look. The blonder-than-blond crop made its debut on the magazine's latest cover and was used by Wintour and team to redefine her style. "We very much wanted to give Taylor a new look, [to] make her into a rock 'n' roll chick," the editrix told Today.

Vogue's not the only one to impact Taylor's style—her outfits definitely started changing when she began dating Calvin Harris.
