Very good dog can give very good kisses.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KDLT) — A St. Bernard from South Dakota has set a world record for having the longest tongue for a living dog.
According to the Guinness World Records, Mochi's tongue measures. 7.3 inches.
The previous record was held by a Pekingese whose tongue was 4.5 inches.
Mochi's owner says her dog is happy, but has some breathing problems because of her long tongue. She also slobbers more than usual when she's nervous.
While Mochi topped the old record with ease, she's still quite a few inches away from the all-time record. That honor goes to Brandy the Boxer, whose tongue was 17 inches long.
Brandy had to be put down in 2002.
