I make no apologies for having a second slice of pie on Thanksgiving. In fact, um, sometimes I go back for a third (just a sliver!). Tell me, how much pie is on your agenda? And, I have some interesting news for you ...
There is one upside to pigging out a little on T-day, or so say researchers. According to a new study, people who eat, drink and are merry (OK, so I added in the merry part) to their heart's content on Thanksgiving are less likely to spend a lot of money while shopping the following day. (Which could be because they're asleep on the couch in a food coma, but anywho.)
Well, in any case, I see no reason why enjoying yourself a little--gravy an all--on one day of the year is going to impact your health in serious ways. Eat up, gals, and enjoy your family and friends and a day off from work! And maybe go for a nice long walk afterward (that always makes me feel so refreshed after the huge turkey meal.)
So, tell me, my dears: How much pie will you have tomorrow, and over the holiday weekend?
Bye everyone! We're off for the rest of the week. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving! xoxo
