I'm on the same page too, I got fit for a new driver yesterday as I found the SLDR very hit & miss. I had some good drives with it but my bad ones were awful, I also didn't like the way it felt when I swung it.
I ended up going for a G30 LS Tec with a tour shaft, it feels better my dispersion was better & I gained 5mph ball speed/18 yards of carry on average.
I would like to try the M1 but I can't justify spending £399 on a driver & I doubt it would give me better numbers than the Ping which I paid £205 for brand new.
