There have been several stories of child actors metamorphosing into full-blooded adult actors. It seems Nollywood is about to get another individual making that transition in the person of Sharon Ifedi.

Sharon Ifedi was born on March 15, 2004, in Asaba, the Delta State capital. Although she was born in Delta State, she is a native of Anambra State, which is situated just across the River Niger, which borders both states.

Ifedi attended primary and secondary schools in Delta State. She currently resides with her family in Asaba.

Ifedi is an actress, dancer and model. She began featuring in films in her pre-teenage years. Speaking in an interview, she disclosed that she started acting when she was eight years old.

She started initially as a child singer. She sang at different events while she was with her parents in Abia State. On her return to Delta State, she was escorted by her mum for auditions and got mini-roles in movies. She landed the role of the lead character in Gold Story, her first mainstream Nollywood movie, as a child. She was subsequently contacted and then got other roles in other movies.

Since making a name for herself, she has appeared in movies alongside well-known performers like Ken Erics, Jim Iyke, Ngozi Ezeonu, Zubby Michael, Ruth Kadiri, and others.

Although she loves being in front of the camera, Ifedi has had to juggle between school and acting. At a time, she skipped classes and had to catch up with her classmates by partaking in extra lesson sessions. She graduated from secondary school in Delta State in July 2022.

Asides from acting, Ifedi also serves as a social media influencer and brand ambassador for brands.

A lot of people assume that Ifedi is related to fellow actress, Chineye Nnebe. The two could pass as twins. 

On the contrary, Chineye Nnebe is the last daughter of actress Uche Nancy, and she has three sisters, namely: Sonia, Ijeoma and Chinanu Nnebe.

Is Sharon Ifedi engaged? 

Ifedi is living with her parents in Delta. Her hobbies are acting, relaxing, and sightseeing during her leisure time.

She has not been linked to any romantic relationship for now.
