Prior to her passing, the 1996 ‘Glamour Girls’ star actress in June 2022 revealed that she was battling life-threatening mental health issues.
She also stated that her health challenge had affected her job.
She said:
“I have an issue right now, and it’s taking my life, but I no go die. We would get over it. I was given a job, but I didn’t do it because I have mental health issues.”
Would people understand when you say you have mental issues? They won’t. They are slamming me with a bill, suing me. It’s okay.”
The actress had earlier in October 2020, lost her only daughter before her battle with depression set in.
However, while mental health issues may have played a role in Ameh’s death, an autopsy report is yet to determine the cause and manner of her death.
