We’re now just a few short days away from the biggest Pokemon GO event of the year.
GO Fest is a yearly celebration of all that is great about Niantic’s AR masterpiece and after years of limiting it to a single real-world location, last year’s “play from home” ethos looks to be staying for good.
Last year’s event theme was a little broad, “community, celebration, and challenge”, however, this year’s festival has a much more rigid musical theme.
Before you can enjoy the festivities, there’s the small matter of the GO Fest 2021 tickets. Here’s how much they’ll set you back and how you can nab yourselves one.
What is the Price of GO Fest 2021 Tickets?
Last year, GO Fest tickets were relatively steep, coming in at $14.99. Although there was a lot of content for players to receive, 15 bucks isn’t a small amount of money.
This year, however, to celebrate Pokemon GO’s fifth anniversary, Niantic has massively reduced the ticket prices for the event.
Rather than $14.99, GO Fest 2021 tickets cost $4.99 (£4.99), a much more palatable number.
Niantic has also confirmed that there will be a free version of GO Fest that all players can get involved in, but as you can imagine, the content will be much more limited than for those who purchase a ticket.
