Newport Aquarium offers free admission for kids through Feb. 28
(WTHR) — If you're looking for an escape from the cold, Newport Aquarium is giving families and their little ones some relief.
From now through Feb. 28, the aquarium is offering free entry for one child between the ages of 2 and 12 with each full-priced adult ticket, WLWT reported.
The free entry is part of the aquariums "Winter Family Days."
The aquarium, which is located just south of Cincinnati across the Ohio River, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and has more than a dozen exhibits.
According to WLWT, there are also a few new residents — ribbontail stingrays. The new species will join the aquarium's 17,000 gallon touch-pool Stingray Hideaway.
General admission for an adult (13+) is $24.99.
