Marc Jacobs Is Not Alone: More Men In High Heels!

I think it's safe to say we've seen it all in recent months: men in tights and men in spanx and oh yes, who could forget bras for dudes? But I think my most recent revelation surely takes the gender-bending cake...

A few months ago, Marc Jacobs started wearing "man heels" all over town, and I kind of fell in love with him all over again. At least he's willing to take his own fashion risks while prescribing ours. But what about a non-fashion guy in high heels? What about...a rock star!?

The Frisky reports that Stuart Weitzman (the same guy who made those nude shoes I loved on Katie Holmes a little earlier) has created a pair of custom-made man boots, or "moots" as they're calling them, for Justin Tranter, the lead singer of a band called Semi-Precious Weapons. "I love heels for two reasons: One, they make my amazing legs look even better and two, I love being able to make an artistic statement without even opening my mouth," the singer says.

And I say bravo! Of course it's kind of hilarious--feel free to laugh (no pointing!)--but also kind of refreshing. The last time I saw a real life man in high heels was at the Louis Vuitton/Stephen Sprouse party, and he was maybe a bit less traditional than your average dude:
