(Indianapolis-AP) -- Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton
Manning has settled a defamation lawsuit filed against him by a
former female trainer.
      Neither side is commenting on the settlement.
      Jamie Ann Naughright filed the lawsuit against Manning in 2002.
She claims Manning disparaged her in a book her wrote with his
father.
      The case stemmed from a 1996 incident in which Manning dropped
his pants in front of Naughright. Manning was the University of
Tennessee quarterback at the time, and Naughright was a trainer.
      Manning's book did not mention Naughright by name, but Manning
wrote that the trainer had a vulgar mouth. Manning acknowledged in
the book that the "mooning" was inappropriate.
