Major Xbox exclusives Starfield and Indiana Jones could be heading to PS5

Over the past few weeks, we've seen rumors and speculation about several Xbox exclusives, such as Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, launching for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Now, new reports suggest Starfield, Bethesda's upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and possibly more are also being considered for release on rival platforms.

The first report comes from XboxEra, which, according to its sources, says Microsoft is planning to bring Starfield to PS5 following the release of the RPG's upcoming expansion Shattered Space. This was corroborated by NateTheHate, who first reported that Microsoft was looking to bring an Xbox exclusive to other platforms back in January.

The report also mentions that rival platform releases of Hi-Fi Rush are "tentatively planned for Q1 this year" and that we can expect Microsoft to make a public announcement about its change in strategy this month.

As for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, The Verge separately reports that Bethesda's upcoming first-person action-adventure game is also being considered for a PS5 release, though after a short period of Xbox exclusivity.

We've also seen reports of other Xbox exclusives making their way to PlayStation. VGC's Andy Robinson says he's heard that "even more are coming [to PS5] than reported." One of these could be Hellblade II, as speculated by XboxEra's Nick Baker.

As it stands, Microsoft has yet to comment on any of the above reports or rumors. Hopefully, we'll get official word soon.
