The Dallas Cowboys are currently in flying form in the NFL as they have maintained a decent record of 6-2 and can become serious contenders for the Super Bowl this season.
RBEzekiel Elliott did something out of the ordinary when he decided to post the picture of the thanksgiving helmet that was meant to be a surprise on his Instagram. The helmet is a throwback to the team and they will wear it for Thanksgiving. The picture went viral quickly as many news outlets started to make a story about it.
The Cowboys’ marketing team then decided to do some damage control and played it quite subtly. Though, some people argued that they had already unveiled the helmet at the start of the season and this whole thing was just a publicity stunt to get in some extra marketing for the helmet.
The Cowboys decided to confirm the leak by RB Ezekiel Elliott when they tweeted in reply to Fox Sports NFL “C’mon bruhhhh…” message directed at their running back.
Whatever the reason may be, the Cowboys’ thanksgiving helmet surely attracted a lot of attention on NFL Twitter, as many people gave their views on it.
The Dallas Cowboys’ thanksgiving Helmet garnered mixed reactions from NFL Twitter
The Dallas Cowboys fans were highly polarized after looking at the leaked pictures of the helmet. Some thought it looked amazing, while others thought it was pretty bad and ugly.
Although the most exciting reaction was when a fan tweeted asking the Cowboys to sign WR Odell Beckham Jr. as he would look great in that helmet.
