Clouds increase this afternoon from west to east as our next storm system moves in. Any moisture with this system will have to battle a very dry air mass in place across the state which will likely limit most showers from holding together.

Skies stay partly to mostly cloudy overnight which helps to hold some warmer air close to the surface. This allows temperatures to stay more mild overnight with lows in the low 60s which is much warmer than recent overnights that have been in the 40s.
With the exception of a stray shower, Monday looks mainly dry but skies stay partly to mostly cloudy.
High temperatures still reach the 80-degree mark.

The pattern becomes more unsettled on Tuesday with showers back in the forecast for late in the day and scattered showers and storms again possible through Wednesday.
Temperatures will be hindered a bit by these rain chances with highs still seasonal in the mid to upper 70s through mid-week.

There could be a lingering shower early Thursday as this system pulls away from central Indiana but dry weather then returns. Rainfall potential through early Thursday will be in the general range of 0.5-1.0" total.
