Lillian Afegbai narrates how she dumped ‘fake Lagos big-boy’ and he moved to her aunty

In a video, the actress described her encounter with a young man she claimed was living a life of smoke and mirrors.

The actress said on her Instagram page that ‘packaging’ (the act of pretending to be more/have more than your reality) had grown so common in Lagos that if one isn’t vigilant, one will fall victim to a scam.

Speaking further, she said most people nowadays borrow stuff from their richer pals in order to appear wealthier.

She stated she went on a date with a guy who claimed to possess property on Lagos Island but was always taking her to the mainland. When she asked about it, he said his buddies were using it.

His car became a target of suspicion as well. Lillian speculated that the man had most likely hired the automobile he drove her out on their first date because she never saw it again after that.

She said she got tired of his “lies” and decided to discontinue seeing him, then heard he was trying to pursue one of her “bigger aunties”.

In her words:

“I got fed up with his lies and broke up with him.”

“My brain come say, ‘ah omo, I never desperate like this o.’ I said ‘sir, please avoid me, I don’t think we can date anymore.’

She further added, “Omo, long story short, I come see say this guy don move to one of my bigger aunties,” Afegbai added.
