Rapper Lil Wayne suggested he was finished with the UFC after watching Islam Makahachev vs Alexander Volkanovski - but quickly realised he'd made a mistake with Conor McGregor set to return.
The UFC 284 main event was an instant classic as Makhachev and Volkanovski battled it out for 25 minutes with lightweight gold on the line.

In the end, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s training partner retained his title by unanimous decision but some people thought Volkanovski did enough to become just the fifth dual-weight UFC champion in history.
Fans in the RAC Arena booed, ex-UFC fighter Nate Diaz voiced his disapproval and the word ‘robbery’ began to trend on Twitter after the result was announced.
‘The Great' was initially calm about his loss but after watching the fight back he claimed he did enough to win and asked for a rematch with Makhachev.
Volkanovski wrote on Twitter: “Just watched the fight, I definitely think I won 2,3 and 5. Surprised I didn’t get my hand raised! Let’s do the rematch, anywhere, anytime!”
Lil Wayne was so frustrated by the UFC 284 main event result he suggested he may never watch Dana White’s MMA promotion ever again.
He tweeted: “Not sure if I’ll ever watch UFC again. Did Volk bad bad.”

The rap legend soon returned to social media to inform his fans that he’s changed his mind after realising Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya and Conor McGregor all have fights coming up.
'Weezy' added: “Wait, Bones Jones komin bak?! Ok I lied and u know I kant miss dat Pereira v Stylebender!!!! And Connor bak right?? Yeah I lied.”

Whenever it is, it’s safe to assume Lil Wayne will be watching despite being disappointed with how UFC 284 ended.
