While there is simply no competitor for the original, short, snappy mobile word game, Wordle, it’s safe to say that Lewdle takes a deserved second place.
The title takes exactly the same premise as Wordle, which was recently sold to the New York Times for one million dollars, however, instead of any old five-letter word, players are tasked with guessing a five-letter lewd word, hence the name.

Lewdle Changes on February 3
To make things a little easier for those who struggle, Whitta and his team implemented a new change to Lewdle yesterday called “Sheltered Mode“.
This mode is designed to help those who struggle to come up with a range of five-letter lewd words for their guesses and instead allows them to guess any word in the dictionary with the aim of guessing the final rude word.
Whitta does warn people though that by using this mode, when sharing your results on social media they will be accompanied by a little house emoji. This is designed to show people that you took the easy option on this round.
