There's a news photo on Yahoo today showing the Sugarcane locomotive. It looks to be in reasonable shape but everything around it is burned to the ground.
Just to noter: The Sugar Train histry dates to 1969 and operations inded in August of 2014. Ihadnread that a local businessman had purchased the equipment and properry, toattempt resumingnthe attraction.
Sugar Cane trains/.G.railroads still function to 'feed' sugar mills in Australia, and one can Google Search to find a number of videos that feature, not only the L,K,&P RR at Maui, but also operations in Queensland, Austraiia.
