Joey King and Taylor Zakhar Perez have tremendous chemistry onscreen in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth 2, where she reprised her role as Elle Evans and he plays a new guy at school named Marco who stirs up trouble for Elle’s relationship with Noah.
Now, the pair is vacationing together at an unnamed gorgeous location with what looks like a group of friends—furthering fan speculation that they may, indeed, be a couple IRL. Zakhar Perez posted a series of photos to his Instagram that show the group frolicking in a waterfall and he and King making silly faces for the camera. “Recalculating route. *disclaimer* we all tested negative ❤️,” he wrote in the caption.

While neither he nor King has commented on the official status of their relationship, Zakhar Perez did tell Glamour he’d be interested in his costar. When asked if he would ever date a fan, he replied, “You know, that’s a good question. Hmm. Like, I’m a fan of Joey and wish that she would date me, you know what I mean? [Laughs.] I feel like it’s different if you’re in the same industry with each other and a fan of each other’s work. I don’t want to say no, because you never know. What if you date someone that doesn’t know who you are but then becomes a fan of your work?”
He also left a comment on a bikini photo from King’s Instagram that got people talking. It simply said, “HOLY $h!t.” And he even wrote his own glowing post in celebration of her 21st birthday.
