The month of June is coming to an end, but Pokemon Go still has a lot to offer for players out there. Not to forget, when the month of July kicks off, we will be getting a plethora of new events as well.
So far we have seen a wide range of stuff this month. Starting with the Gible Community Day, we also had the A Slow Discovery event which was focused around slow Pokemon such as Slowpoke, Slowking, and Slowbro.

One of the major highlights of this month was the arrival of the new research task, A Seven Colored Shadow. This will give players a chance to add a Shadow Ho-Oh to their collection. The event will be lasting until September and gives players a lot of time to complete it.
Is there a Shiny Swinub in Pokemon Go? – June Spotlight Hour 2021
If you are an avid Pokemon Go player, you must be waiting for the Tuesday of every week. For those who are unaware, every Tuesday, the Spotlight Hour takes place in the game which gives players an increased chance to catch a specific Pokemon that is already available in the game. During that hour, the spawn rate of the Pokemon is significantly increased.
For this week, the Pokemon that will be featured during the Spotlight Hour will be Swinub. Swinub was part of the Johto region, all the way back in Generation 2. Like always, players are curious whether a Shiny variant of Swinub exists or not. Well, the good news is that Shiny Swinub is indeed present in Pokemon Go.
However, that doesn’t mean that they will be easy to catch. Shiny Swinubs are quite rare, so you might still have a tough time getting your hands on one. If you have some Incense, that should definitely improve your chances.
