Indy's newest airline adds non-stop route to Myrtle Beach

Spirit Airlines is giving Indianapolis travelers more non-stop flight options.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Spirit Airlines is giving Indianapolis travelers a non-stop flight option to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The Myrtle Beach flights will be seasonal and will be offered three times a week starting in May.

Spirit also plans to add non-stop flights from Indianapolis to Fort Myers and Tampa beginning in November.

“Spirit Airlines is excited to celebrate the launch of our Indianapolis service with the promise of even more nonstop flights on the way," said John Kirby, Spirit Airlines' Vice President of Network Planning. "These two additional routes reinforce our growing investment from the Crossroads of America. We believe Circle City guests looking to get away will embrace our low fares and the best value in the sky."

On March 14, Spirit began service out of Indianapolis with non-stop flights to Orlando and Las Vegas.

The flights to Orlando and Las Vegas, as well as the upcoming flights to Tampa and Ft. Myers will take off daily.
