Amongst many of Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex and the City outfits, the Dior silk newsprint dress is a definite highlight. The inventive recycled newspaper design isn't even overshadowed by drama in that pivotal scene. (You know, when Carrie apologizes to Natasha for sleeping with her husband, Big. Oops.) So much so that it made a reappearance in the Sex and the City 2 movie a decade or so later.
Kate Moss is a dedicated slip dress fan—sporting many a clingy number in her day, like this lacy one that might be an actual lingerie piece back in 1990.
Even on Kate's big day, she opted for a beautiful sheer and beaded gown by controversial designer (and friend) John Galliano. (Fun fact: Kate Moss actually called first dibs on Posh's Wimbledon dress when she basically wore it straight off the fall '13 runway to a Paris Fashion Week party in March.)
