It's hot, hot, hot in New York. Has been for a while. And yet I bet many things being shot here this summer will somehow end up looking TV-perfect--no one's faces will be shiny, and work clothes will look perfectly bearable.
Very Good Girls, I think, is going for a more realistic look. The movie is about two friends determined to lose their virginity the summer between freshman and sophomore year of high school. (Fun fact: the film was written by Naomi Foner, Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal's mother.)
Anyway, the film's stars, Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning, have been working it out all over Brooklyn for weeks now--and doing real city-summer things like bike riding, hitting up the beach, and, um, sweating.
But look how cute! These breezy pics are making me excited for the movie.
