At launch, the Moonveil Katana and Sword of Night and Flame instantly became two of the best weapons in the game. The former scales with Dex and Int, and it was almost broken initially. The weapon art, aka Transient Moonlight, not only did a massive amount of damage but also had quite a good toll on the poise of enemies. This meant that players could stagger bosses very frequently making most of the game a cakewalk for them. The poise break was nerfed in the first patch. The Sword of Night and Flame, on the other hand, had an overpowered weapon art as well, which could whittle down the HP of any enemy. That was nerfed in the patch as well.
How To Get Magma Blade in Elden Ring
With so many nerfs happening in Elden Ring, fans are now looking for the next best weapon in the game. It seems like the Magma Blade is gathering a lot of attention. The only catch for this weapon is that it can be obtained very late in the game, as you need to wait until you unlock the Volcano Manor in the game. This is a really high leveled area, so unless you are close to level 100, you will be having a very hard time here.
Once you reach the Volcano Manor, you need to find the lizard enemies who are wielding the magma blade. Do note that this is not a guaranteed drop. You need to keep killing as many as you can and just hope that you get this blade. You can use items that boost your item drop rates, so that can help you quite considerably as well. Drop rates aren’t known, but it can be notoriously low as well since some have reported that they had to kill multiple hundreds of them to get the blade.
