After months of hype, and some deafening silence from the Battlefield team, players are now deep into the first Battlefield 2042 beta.
Players who have pre-ordered will be able to test out the heavily anticipated title and some of its most popular features for a couple of days, before the beta opens up.
As we head into the weekend, however, many players have begun to wonder how long the Battlefield 2042 beta is and if they’ll be able to spend all weekend playing it. Let’s take a look.
What’s Included in The Beta?
Players will be able to dive right into the game mode Conquest where they will fight in a range of sectors, each of which contains flags instead of control points.
They’ll be able to play Conquest on one of the games most exciting looking maps, Orbital, in which a rocket is set to blast off into space.
Finally, players will be able to choose one of four different specialists to play as – The grappling hook wielding Webster Mackay, the combat medic Maria Falck, the powerful sentry using Pyotr Guskovsky and the stealthy Wikus Van Daele.
How Long is The Battlefield 2042 Beta and When Does It End?
The open beta begins today, October 8, meaning anybody can jump in.
The beta is all set to finish on Sunday, October 10 at 12am PT, 3am ET, 8am UK. Sadly, it looks like players will have to find something else to occupy their time for the rest of the weekend!
