If there's a local rule in place regarding aeration holesOn greens that have been hollow tined do you have to replace a ball in an actual tine hole or can you place it to one side of the hole as near as possible to the original place the ball came to rest?
'On the putting green, a ball that comes to rest in or on an aeration hole may be placed at the nearest spot not nearer the hole that avoids the situation.'
