Since Cindi, Glamour's editor-in-chief, first posted on glamour.com about Lizzi Miller--the size 12-14 model featured in a small photo in our September issue--almost one million visitors have checked out her story--and 1012 of them (and counting!) have commented. The photo hit such a nerve (mostly a really, really, really good one) with women, that it even made its way to CNN! And just when I thought it might be old news by now, I went out to dinner on Saturday night, and all my girlfriends wanted to talk about was the photo. "What guy wouldn't think she's hot?" said one of them.
Hmm, What do guys think of Lizzi's body, I wondered? So I asked a bunch of them. Listen in on what they had to say:
"My first reaction when I saw this photo was, Damn, when did Glamour start publishing hot nudie pics? And, How can I get invited to the photo shoots? Truth be told, I did notice Lizzi's stomach pooch, but only after admiring her radiant smile, awesome hair and sexy legs. I'm not going to deny that men hold women to unreasonably high standards. And I'd gladly sacrifice a toe or three for one night with a perfect 10 like Penélope Cruz or Scarlett Johansson. But watching Penélope and Scarlett cavort in Vicki Cristina Barcelona doesn't hold a candle to a simple smile from my real-life, not-quite-perfect crush."
