Guide for The Sims FreePlay (WP)

Hints and Tips.

• Make sure to verify your internet connection every so often to avoid any glitches that may occur in the process.
• Upload progress to the cloud as much as possible.
• Idle adults Sims are wasted money and XP. Get them planting seeds, baking goods or taking part in a hobby. For any other Sims, just make sure they do something as all XP is worth it.
• Use timing wisely. If you know you can't play for 4 hours and have 8 idle Sims, get them to do something that will take 4 hours.
• Group Sims together. Even though you can only have 4 Sims living in one household, you can have up to 10 Sims at any house at one time. I personally grouped as many adults together as possible, and eventually, all my Pre-teens to make everything as efficient as possible.
• Don't waste money on the unimportant things; focus on purchasing the best Hobby items as possible, and don't bother building too many residential or career buildings. It may sound a bit backwards, but only build the Science Lab for a career, and the other buildings that are either part of a quest line, or start a quest line (for example The Mall). Even though your town value won't be as high as it could be, you'll make up for that with Pre-teens and the Town Value glitch.
• However, contrary to the above, if you're partaking in a quest that doesn't need a building and you have more than enough Simoleons lying around doing nothing, there's no reason not to build a residential property or any other building - I'd recommend picking buildings that specifically start quests.
• You can have up to 4 tasks going at once:
  - The main quest line task.
  - The secondary quest line task.
  - Weekly task.
  - Social task.
  So make sure you are working on as many of these out of the four as possible.
• Inspired Sims make more money/XP on completion of things than an uninspired Sim. So it's worth keeping those needs raised as much as possible. If their needs get too low, they will refuse to do starts, or if they're grouped at a house they don't live in, they will go home.
