Coming off the release of Gears 5 this past fall, Microsoft and The Coalition have plenty more in store for fans of the acclaimed shooter series. Specifically, later this month will bring the arrival of Gears Tactics, a strategy game spin-off set before the events of the first Gears of War, and now you can prepare for what’s ahead in the game with its full list of Achievements that you can claim.
Ahead of the game’s release later this month, Microsoft has revealed the full list of Achievements that players will find in Gears Tactics. As with most other Xbox games, Gears Tactics has a full 1000 Gamerscore up for the taking spread across 50 Achievements. The majority of the Achievements seem tied to completing objectives and missions in the campaign, along with some speciality accomplishments for certain difficulties or tasked.

From what we know of the game so far, Gears Tactics takes the traditional cover-based shooting mechanics of the Gears of War series and infuses it with turn-based strategy gameplay in the vein of XCOM. Hopefully this combination turns out just as good as chocolate and peanut butter, and we only have a few more weeks to find out if that’s the case. If you’re in it for the story, Gears Tactics takes place 12 years before the events of the original Gears of War and will mainly follow Gabe Diaz, the father of Gears 5‘s lead character, Kait Diaz.
